Snow Leopard Expedition

Day 01 : Arrival Delhi

Arrive Delhi assistance upon arrival, later transfer to Hotel. Overnight Hotel on B & B.

Day 02 : Delhi - Leh

Transfer to domestic airport to connect a direct flight to Leh Arrival. Pick-up from Airport. Rest till afternoon. Evening--visit to Shanti Stupa. Overnight Leh hotel.

Day 03 : Leh

Visit to monasteries in Shey, Thiksey and Hemis. Full day. Overnight Leh hotel.

Day 04 : Leh

Early morning bird-watching in Palam area along Indus river. Return for breakfast. Visit Spituk and Phyang monasteries. Overnight Leh hotel.

Day 05 : Uley Village

Drive to Yang hang. From there walk for 2 hours to Uley village. Overnight homestay in Uley village.

Day 06 : Uley Village

Walk to ridgeline of Uley village. Ibex sighting possible. Overnight homestay as above.

Day 07 : Uley Village

Walk to summer pasture. Sighting of good birdlife, ibex, and snow-leopard. Overnight homestay as above.

Day 08 : Uley - Leh

Walk till Yangthang. Drive till Leh. Overnight Leh hotel.

Day 09 : Leh - Zhingchen

Drive to Zhingchen. Trek till Hursing for 2 hours. Camp in Hursing. One of the best places for snow-leopard sighting. En-route, blue sheep sighting possible.

Day 10 : Rimbak

Walk till Rumbak. Overnight homestay at Rumbak.

Day 11 :Gandhala Pass

Walk till Gandhala pass. Possible sighting of Tibetan Argali. Overnight Rumbak homestay.

Day 12 : Rumbak - Zhingchen

Walk from Rumbak to Zhingchen. Pick-up and drive to Leh. Overnight Leh hotel.

Day 13 : Leh - Delhi

Transfer to Airport to connect a direct flight to New Delhi.Overnight hotel in Delhi.

Day 14 : Departure

Transfer to international airport.
