Northern Birds and Tiger Safari Tour

A 14-day birding tour and tiger safari. Depart Delhi for Corbett National Park, world- famous for its population of wild elephants and tigers. Drive to Nainital, to the foothills of the Himalayas for fabulous bird sightings. Then on to Delhi to catch the A/C train to Ranthambore for the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Transfer to station for A/C train to Bharatpur for the famous Keoladeo Bird Reserve. A/C train back to Delhi. Departs from Delhi.

Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

Upon your arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the evening at your leisure, exploring the bustling capital city.

Day 02: Delhi to Corbett National Park

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Corbett National Park, which takes approximately six hours. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy a delightful lunch. In the afternoon, experience bird watching around Corbett’s buffer zone, where you can spot a variety of bird species.

Day 03: Bird Watching in Corbett

Dedicate a full day to exploring the rich avian life of Corbett National Park. Enjoy the sights and sounds of diverse bird species in their natural habitat.

Overnight Stay: Camp River Wild, Deluxe Cottage, in the buffer zone.

Day 04: Safari to Dhikala

Today, embark on a thrilling drive to Dhikala, located in the heart of Corbett National Park. The journey itself is a safari adventure. Check in at Dhikala Forest Lodge, offering basic yet comfortable accommodations. Spend the afternoon exploring the area with a guided jeep safari.

Day 05: Jeep Safari and Return to Camp River Wild

Begin the day with an exhilarating morning jeep safari in the Dhikala zone of Corbett National Park. Later, return to Camp River Wild for an afternoon safari drive, exploring the rich biodiversity

Day 06: Camp River Wild to Pangot via Mongoli Valley

Depart early for Pangot, a picturesque village near Nainital, with a stop for bird watching at Mongoli Valley en route. The drive takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Enjoy afternoon birding around Pangot, known for its vibrant avian life.

Day 07: Birding in Pangot

Day 14: Ranthambhore to Delhi

Conclude your safari adventure with a morning drive inside Ranthambhore. Later, transfer to the station for the Golden Temple Mail train back to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.
