Day 01: Arrive Paro – Thimpu (55 Kms / 02 Hrs)
Arrive at Paro and transfer to Thimpu by surface. Upon arrival Check-in at Hotel. Afternoon: visit TrashichhoDzong. Meals and overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Thimpu
Morning: Visit National Library (Closed on Sunday and Mondays) and Textile Museum Later visit Institute of ZorigChusum (commonly known as painting school).
Afternoon: Visit Memorial Chorten&Takin Reserve followed by visit to weekend vegetable market held at the Centenary Farmer market.
Meals and Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Thimpu – Trongsa (200 Kms / 06 Hrs)
Morning: Drive to Trongsa with a short stop at Dochula pass (3,080m).
Lunch in Wangduephodrang.
After lunch continuation towards Trongsa across Pelela pass (3,300 m). Enroute stop at ChendbjiChorten.
Arrive Trongsa & transfer to the hotel.
Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: Trongsa – Bumthang (68 Kms / 03 Hrs)
Morning: Visit Trongsa Dzong.
Lunch at Hotel.
Later drive to Bumthang takes you over the picturesque Yotong La Pass and down into Chhume Valley.
Upon arrival transfer to Hotel. Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05: Bumthang
Morning: Visit to JambayLakhang, KurjeLhakhang and JakarDzong.
Lunch at Hotel.
Afternoon: Visit TamshingLhakhang. Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Bumthang – Punakha (205 Kms / 07 Hrs)
Morning: drive to Punakha with enroute visit to Wangduephodrang Dzong.
Lunch at ChimiLhakhang cafeteria. Upon arrival transfer to Hotel.Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07: Punakha – Paro (120 Kms / 4Hrs 30)
Morning: Visit Punakha Dzong.
Later Drive to Paro, upon arrival transfer to Hotel.
Afternoon: Visit Ta Dzong “and RinpungDzong (the fortress on a heap of jewels). Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08: Paro
Morning: Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest). Lunch at Taktsang Cafeteria.
Afternoon: Visit KyichuLhakhang.
Evening: Visit local market and the public park. Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.
Day 09: Depart Paro
In time transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
